Tuesday 7th October was a Ladies Florida Scramble draw, the format proving a popular fun competition with the ladies’ section. 38 ladies played, the ladies who are newer to golf being skilfully guided by more experienced ladies on the tactics of a Scramble format! 16 holes were played, the winners, with nett 62, were Susan Taylor, Sandra Dewey and Susan Jackson, coming second, nett 63, were Jackie Smart, Heather Memmott and Rebecca Booth. In third place on countback, were Annie Burke, Steph Turner and Alison Matthews.

On Saturday 11h October a Two Ball Texas Scramble medal was held on sunny warm day. Thankfully the last groups managed to complete their round before it got dark! The results were as follows:

1st Craig Pinches & Tom Hesketh 64.0 (countback)

2nd Carl Bushby & Allen Chell 64.0 (countback)

3rd Jack Rushworth & Ian Douglas 64.0
