The Ladies Autumn Greensome’s was played over 14 holes on Tuesday 23rd September with a field of 21 pairs. First placed pair were Zoe Laver and Sally Jenkins with 34 points. There were three pairs with 31 points, Debbie Bruce and Ann Clarke taking second place from Bernie Ruffell and Steph Turner on countback.

On Saturday, 27 September, the club held its version of the Ryder Cup with players born in Yorkshire eligible to play for Europe. Like the result at Bethpage Black, the result was close, with Team Europe narrowly winning 16.5 to 14.5. Team USA made a valiant effort, which included the Scottish combination of Vice Captain Gary Macnair and Lennie Huxter beating Captain Andrew Asquith and Club Pro Martin Padgett.

1 - Europe (John Branton + Simon Foreman) – 43 (back nine CB)

2 - USA (Lindsay McKenzie + Stuart Firth) - 43

3 - Europe (Patrick Corner + Ian Douglas) - 42
