Local Rules

1/ Out of Bounds. (Rule 18.2b)
a)Beyond all boundary objects; hedges, fences, walls and gates are out of bounds. There is no free relief from the boundary, gates are deemed integral objects
b)The greenkeepers compound to the left of the second hole marked by white posts.
c)Beyond the white posts above the practice putting green and to the right of the 18th green.

2/ Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1)
All man-made, artificially surfaced roads and paths are Immovable Obstructions.
a)The Greenkeepers shed between the 1st and 4thholes (and surrounding artificial surfaces)
b)Halfway House
c)Sprinkler heads
d)Fairway markers
e)Bells on 6th and 9thSprinkler Heads are Immovable Obstructions.
Players may also take relief under Rule 16.1b if an immovable obstruction is: On the line of play, and is: Within two club-lengths of the putting green, and within two club- lengths of the ball.

3/ Ground under repair (Rule 16.1)
All areas of the course marked GUR, encircled with white lines and/or displaying ground under repair signs. Players may take relief under Rule 16.1. Note: Relief must be taken when areas are marked as no play zones.

4/ Integral Objects (No free relief)
a)The wall to the right of the 2nd green, supporting the 3rd tee.
b)The sleeper retaining the Crab Apple tree on the left side of the 18th hole.

5/ Protection of Young trees.
Relief must be taken from protected young trees or bushes where these are identified by either stakes, banding, or plastic or wire netting. (Rule 16.1).
Penalty for Breach of Local Rules 3 and 5: General Penalty - Match Play loss of hole, Stroke Play two strokes.

Distance Markers
Fairway Markers at 100, 150 and 200 yards (Par 5s only) to the center of the green.
