47 ladies competed in the 18 hole Stableford and Grannies Cup competition on Tuesday 8th July. It was another glorious day for golf. Sophie Jacob topped division 1 with 38 points, including 11 pars and 2 birdies. Second and third places both scored 37 points, Pam Dodds taking second spot, on countback, from Tara Phipps. Division 2 winner was Alison Stratford, 37 points. Another countback was required, Betsy Haldon taking second, Carol Wakelin third, both with 35 points. Division 3 was won by Carol Clayton, 40 points. 38 points secured Anne Burke in second place, Rebecca Ellacott third with 35 points. In line with the terms of competition Pam Dodds was the winner of the 18 hole Grannies Cup.

2 ladies played in the green course, 9 hole Stableford and Grannies Cup, Sandra Dewey taking the honours with 15 points.

The 2025 HDU Ladies’ Silver Championship took place at Pannal on 7th July. The Pannal Ladies had a fantastic result with our Pannal A Team winning the gross team competition with a score of 242 (3 medal scores to count).

The individual gross title was won by Sandra Taylor with a score of 79, beating her teammate Claire Hutchinson, 80.

Sandra, Claire and Julie Parry all qualified for the quarter final of the HDU Ladies Scratch matchplay knockout over the summer.
