The Annual team match between the Captains & Vice Captain’s took place on Sunday 27th April. An honourable draw was declared the result with both team securing 4 ½ points each. In match 1 between Andrew Asquith/Vicky Eyre & Gary Macnair/Sue White, the Captains secured a narrow victory over the Bvice Captains. Sue White wasn’t helped by Gary Macnair having a bad dose of the ‘shanks’, which Andrew Asquith made significant reference to during his speech!

The winning pair who represented the Captain’s team were John & Rebecca Ellacott (pictured below) who scored 41 points, beating Simon Darbyshire & Lorraine Webster, representing the Vice Captain’s team, on a countback. Nearest the pin prizes were won by Amanda Dunn & Tim Rhodes.
