On Tuesday 29th April, in wonderful spring sunshine, forty Ladies played in 18 hole Stableford competition, nine ladies scoring to their handicap or better.

The results were:

Division 1

Anne Padgett 41 points

Amanda Dunn 38 points

Division 2

Martine Phipps 38 points

Gail Wilson 37 points

Division 3

Jo Walker 42 points

Sandra Dewey 39 points

There were 3 two's, one each on the 3rd, 10th and 17th.

Seven ladies played in the 9 hole Stableford competition, Zoe Laver the winner with 24 points.

The May Monthly Medal & Beanland Trophy was held on Saturday 3rd of May. Chris Hastings won division 1 going out in 36 coming back in 34 with 5 birdies and 10 pars beating the Captain, Andrew Asquith by 3 shots. John Twizell won division 2 going out in 40 coming back in 37 with 3 birdies and 7 pars beating Mathew Atkinson in a card play off. Paul Barnard won division 3 going out in 44 coming back in 39 with 11 pars beating Michael Rhodes by 1 shot. There were 26 two’s recorded.

The Scratch & 1st team match against Masham took place on Thursday 1st May at Pannal. The 1st team (Simon Walker, James Matthews, Dom Jesper & Ben Chumas) had a convincing win, winning all 4 matches. Overall Pannal won 14 points v 6 points. Next up is a home match against Rudding Park.
